We took our Double Oaktown Brown Ale (a double brown ale made with oak) and aged it in a Clyde May's Bourbon Barrel selected by San Francisco Whiskey, Bourbon, Scotch Society (SFWBSS). The resulting beer was aged for 11 months - adding flavors of dark fruit, spices, black tea, and cacao nibs. We are very happy with how this beer came out and are excited to share it with the beer and whiskey community!
