We took our Double Oaktown Brown Ale (a double brown ale made with oak) and aged it in a Frey Ranch Distilling Bourbon Barrel selected by San Francisco Whiskey, Bourbon, Scotch Society (SFWBSS). The resulting beer was aged for 10 months - adding rich flavors of dark chocolate, espresso, baking spices. We are very happy with how this beer came out and are excited to share it with the beer and whiskey community!
